"I met coach Gilbert when I was around 10 years old and I am now 23 and he’s been a constant role model in my life since the day I met him. He changed my life for the better always giving me great advice and just being there for me physically and emotionally. I grew up without a father and coach gil stepped up and was someone I could call a father figure from a young age, being there for me at my games helping me and my mother financially when times were tough, you name it he did it! With all that being said he was also a great skills trainer changing my game for the better from a young age and making me the player I am today with 6 am workouts and skills work several times a week. I am now a junior in college and have had a pretty successful college basketball career so far and I owe coach Gilbert a ton of credit for that with the way he prepared me mentally and physically with his skills work!
